Keith and I took a little get away this past weekend. First time driving to Utah together, and we survived ;) It is quite the drive and I can't say I want to do it again. We sure enjoyed the weather up there, and the great company. We stayed with Keith's uncle in Draper. He gave us the whole basement to ourselves, it was like a hotel! Friday night I snuck out for a much needed girls night. I've missed Kara so much. It was so nice to just talk and be with each other. Saturday we got to experience Kenzie (Kara's daughter) getting sealed to Kara and Mike. It was such a beautiful sight to see. I wasn't prepared for the emotions that came rolling through my body when I saw all 3 of them together in white. It was overwhelming. I'm so proud of the decisions they have made! After, we went to a delish lunch at Kara's house in West Jordan. There was so much family there. It was so awesome. Sunday was Olivia's blessing, followed by 3 great talks ;) Then brunch in the park, since you can do these sort of things in June in Utah! ha ha Like I said, the weather was beautiful.
We did some shopping, pretty much just for our kids. It's so fun to find them things. We got to see park City. I visited with Emily and Tiffany, so that was a bonus too!
I got to meet Keith's cousins who I've heard so much about. They are adorable and sweet girls. And, just to brag a bit, they are the most amazing soccer players you will meet! Megan goes to USC and Kaelia is getting ready to head to North Carolina. Both on full ride scholarships.
Guess I know what sport I hope Makena does good in!
All in all, it was so fun. Minus the driving. I'm so glad to be back because I missed my baby girl so much. Now to get ready for the Fourth and the rest of summer!

3 pictures? You've got to be kidding me! Since when did I get so bad, and especially on vacation. It must be because I have a crummy old camera and just forget to pull it out. So looks like I'll be stealing from some of my girlies!
