Makena got to do a Level 1 swim class. Since last summer we did a parent infant class, she was all set. I'm pretty sure she was the youngest in her group, but she is such a fast learner. She is just a fish and loves the water so much. (We got lucky on this one since Keith and I are both water people.)
Heather Solomon is a great swim instructor! She has over 20 years experience and is so patient. Her house is in Queen Creek and her pool is salt water, just a few perks :)If you want her info for next summer just let me know. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
At first she was a little shy but then she warmed up to everyone. By the end of her two week session she'd get mad when we had to leave.
Practicing going off the side. The kids also stand up and basically do a front flip. This teaches them what to do if they were to ever fall into a pool.
Makena now LOVES floating on her back and can roll over on her own!
