Keith decided to paint his bike- who knows why, it was perfectly fine. But he wanted it a flat black. And I will admit, it looked dang good. I was a little jealous. So I mentioned maybe I wanted mine black, too. Next thing I know he painted mine and gave me hot pink rims =) So the other night it was sort of overcast and I said it was the perfect night for a bike ride. The only problem is that we don't have a baby seat for either of our bikes. (We have been looking online cause we saw this awesome one while we were in California, but its pretty expensive.) Anyway- we had to improvize....so we pulled out the front pack. I didn't trust myself cause this kid is getting heavier. So we strapped it on dad and went for a ride! It was so much fun. Makena had a blast!! She loved the wind in her hair, looking at the trees, watching mom next to her, and wiggling her arms and legs. I tried to get the video camera out once we got home but it was to dark. I need to get this on tape. She will crack up when she gets older!

Oh Con, how fun! The bikes look COOL. And I'm sure Makena loved it. You should just get a basic bike seat like I have. It's worked for both boys and it was cheap. I like all that other stuff but we just did what we could afford :-)
