Some exciting news for a mommy: my baby is crawling! She has wanted to for some time now but this week she finally is going places. I am preparing myself for bumps and bruises. We got new coffee tables that should be a little safer, so that's a start.
We had a great fourth in Huntington Beach, California. We got up super early to get a spot on the beach. Our good friend Aimee has family there so we got to tag along with all of them. It was a hot but fun filled day!
Daddy took this picture of Makena wearing Uncle Ben's bandana. Too funny!
My cousin Sara got to drive down from Palmdale to visit us. It was so nice seeing her!
Here is Makena's first family picture on the beach. She loved the sand but the water was FREEZING!!!!!!!

that picture of ya'll with ben reminds me of a time when a bunch of us including Ben went to Huntington Beach as teenagers. AJ saw a bicycle lying on the beach so he picked it up and started riding it into the ocean. The owner of the bike, who was surfing, saw this and almost fought us, it was funny.
