The Latest

Well, yes, I have been a naughty blogger. BUT...i do have a semi-good excuse.... we're PREGNANT!!! It is so exciting, but i have been pretty sick, hence the non- updating. So things have been getting back to normal and I'm feeling much better. I will try harder to update more now. The new baby will be here end of September so just about 2 years apart from Makena. We are very happy. And I am counting down the days until I can find out the sex. If you know me, you know I like to be prepared. So I want to get the rooms all squared away as soon as possible ;)

Whats been happening? Well, first off, in January we welcomed a new little man to our family. My sister had her baby and named him Coen Wells Lamont. He looks just like his dad. I thing he'll be a stocky football player type. Don't you agree?

My good friend Tashina ran the PF Changs Rock N Roll Marathon. Man I was so proud of her. That was seriously a huge thing to do. As she was getting to her last mile me and some of her other friends held a sign up for her and cheered her on. I wanted to get to that finish line to see her so we all just started running on the sidelines. I don't know what came over me but I just started crying. It was pretty awesome. LOVE YOU SHEENA!
Then I ran my first 10k. It was the London's Run in Queen Creek which was huge for a lot of reasons. A lot of Mesa Police Dept was there so of course Keith came to root us along. I stole this picture off their website cause my dear husband was occupied with the kid and didn't get any pictures for me. I know it looks scary but I was doin ok. I actually finished under an hour! Thats less than a 10 min mile. I was pretty satisfied with that time. I'm looking forward to doing another one in the next little while.
Here are some of Makena's Valentines Day pictures. My sister in Law Tifani took them. She did such a good job. (If you want to see the rest go on my facebook) My baby girl is growing up so fast. I just can't believe the new things she does every day. I can't wait to see her be a big sister. I started watching a little girl part time and Makena has been so helpful, for the most part. I think it is good preparation for her to be around another baby. She will be a year and a half in just 2 weeks. Wow- she's really not a baby anymore. *tear* It really kinda makes me sad when I think about her growing up. But I better stop blabbing cause I really could go on and on.
