8 MONTHS OLD!

(Here is Makena's sweet smile when she is hamming up to mom; she scrunches up her little button nose. I was trying on one of the new headbands I made for Fourth of July this morning while I was feeding her breakfast. Hence the messy face.)

My baby girl is eight months old today! Oh my gosh time has flown by. I can't believe how big she is getting. Once she picks something new up she is unstoppable. She hasn't started crawling yet, but I know once she does I'll be chasing her everywhere. So I don't mind for now. She is almost there though. She gets in her butterfly position and leans way forward till she is on her tip toes, then just balances. It sure is cute. One thing she just started is-- clapping! Oh it's adorable. Usually once people start watching her she stops though, silly girl.
