February

Well, this has been one of those months that just flew by. A lot happened. We started the month off with a most sacred funeral. My big brother and his wife experienced the loss of their precious son Micah Stewart. This experience just proved to me once again how strong this family is. I've always looked up to Jacob and Tifani, but now more than ever. Their love is so strong- you can feel it by just looking at them. They are truly my bar. I hope someday to be half the pople they are. Their children Payton and Kaeden have no clue how lucky they are to have them as parents. I can't wait for the day they will be back in Arizona so I can shower all of them with my love. It will be here before we know it, until then, my prayers are sent to them constantly.

Life keeps be busy being a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a cousin, a niece, a grand-daughter, and a friend. I'm trying to be a better person everyday. Having these experiences opens my eyes. Shortly after this funeral my grandma (my mom's mother) passed away. This wasn't anticipated but it was long over due. She was in pain and wasn't the same person since her husband died a year and a half ago. No matter what the circumstances, it was the hard on my mom. In a way it has mad me feel blessed to be there for in her time of grieveing. She has given all of herself to her children her whole life. I hope I can give back any percent of myself right back. Now that I am capable and aware of so much more, I want to be that shoulder to cry on and the just a listener. Everyone copes in their own way, and her way is to be with Makena. I love to see them together. I kind of get a glimpse of what it must have been like when I was a baby. How she sang to me, kissed me, read me books, fed me bottles. I don't know if my mother will ever know how much I love and care for her, but I will try my hardest for the rest of my life to show her.
